How do I know you are a respectable firm?

CMR prides itself in providing personal, confidential, professional service to the physicians who contact us. We have placed hundreds of physicians and wouldn't be able to stay in business if we did not give quality personal service to our candidates. READ MORE . We are members of the NAPR and NALTO and strictly abide by their Code of Ethics.

Will you charge me for your services?

No. It is against the NAPR Code of Ethics! Our clients, hospitals, single/multispecialty groups, HMOs, solo practices, community health centers contract with us to assist them in their recruitment efforts. There is never a fee to you!

Will you forward my CV and information without my permission?

No. It is against the NAPR Code of Ethics! We do not forward your CV until you tell us you would like to be considered for a specific position. Only then will we present you as a candidate.

What about Locum Tenens?

We have short & long term assignments. If you have a day, week, month or year available, our clients have a need. We provide competitive reimbursement, arrange for malpractice insurance, roundtrip travel, lodging, and rental car. We take care of all the details!

How am I paid?

You complete a work report for the previous two weeks and are paid every two weeks. You are paid as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, you are self-employed. That means you do not have withholding taxes or benefits. It is important that you speak to your CPA or financial advisor regarding your taxes, as we do not withhold taxes.

How often do I work?

Once you have completed our locum packet, it has been processed and your malpractice insurance arranged, we will begin contacting you regarding your interest and availability in specific assignments. It is always your decision to accept or reject an assignment presented to you.

What are the benefits of working locum?

You have flexibility and control to work when you want to. If you just want to work part-time, this is a great option for you. If you are not sure of the type of practice you want to settle down in, you can work in a variety of practice settings and communities. Work in a multi-specialty group in a metro area or a community health center in a small rural community. See the big city, suburban and rural areas, big practices, small, medium sized, HMO or hospital settings. It is your decision!
